Pepe Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is produced with pure grapes from the vine of the same name, coming from 30-year-old vines that rest on clayey and medium-textured soil.
Montepulciano Pepe wine is presented in the glass with the typical intense ruby color and not very penetrating. Nose of great complexity, capable of evolving in an impressive way with the passage of time, so much so that if as a young man it brings out vinous and fresh fruit references, it subsequently enriches its profile with references to graphite, earth and undergrowth. Compact and austere sip, always driven by a beautiful acidity and a vital and sculpted tannin. Immortal.
